Well, I might actually have something to say finally. On Monday I took a great personal risk and participated in my first "real" art class. I've been so afraid to do that for fear that someone, an expert, would tell me that everything I'm doing is wrong. Turns out I've been afraid for nothing. It seems there's no right or wrong way to paint. Everyone has their own style, what's most comfortable for them, and it seems that some of the stranger methods, I thought, I've been using are not strange at all.
That's such a relief. Now I'm ticked that I didn't do this years earlier. I feel like I've learned so much even after just one lesson I can hardly wait for the next one! Our instructor, Lalita Hamill, has promised to take me right out of comfort zone, a place I'm really looking forward to finding!! This page is definitely still under construction as I haven't figured out yet what to say.
